Manager of Finance

As the Manager of Finance, you will oversee critical financial functions, including payroll, accounts payable, treasury, reporting, forecasting, and month-end close, while also managing HR-related financial responsibilities. Based in Vaughan, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance within a global healthcare organization. An ideal candidate holds a CPA designation and has a strong background in IFRS.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & HR:
- Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee records.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Treasury & Accounts Payable:
- Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and wire transfers.
- Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Reporting & Forecasting:
- Prepare financial reports and provide key insights for decision-making.
- Lead financial forecasting, collaborating with stakeholders for accurate projections.
Month-End Close & Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial close processes.
- Apply IFRS standards in reporting and compliance.
Requirements:
- CPA designation preferred, with strong IFRS knowledge.
- Payroll experience is essential
- Proven experience in a finance leadership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
- Excellent communication and adaptability in a multinational environment.
