Job description

Job Title: Finance Project Coordinator (6-8 Week Contract)

Location: Hybrid (as required)
Duration: 6-8 weeks

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Project Coordinator to support a finance transformation initiative during a 6-8 week vacation coverage period. This role will provide both administrative and subject matter support to ensure continuity of key activities related to JIRA ticket management, Chart of Accounts (COA) clean-up, stakeholder coordination, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Track and manage JIRA tickets, ensuring follow-up and timely closure.
  2. Support COA analysis and mapping of balance sheet accounts in alignment with OHRS standards.
  3. Liaise with KPMG, internal Finance teams (GA, AP, AR, FP&A, etc.), and IMG to gather data and coordinate meetings.
  4. Assist in compiling and organizing documentation, maintaining project folders, and updating SharePoint and Confluence.
  5. Prepare bi-weekly project update presentations in PowerPoint.
  6. Analyze and map project codes, vendor/customer numbers, and assist with data extraction from Lawson.
  7. Provide administrative support for project deliverables, including meeting scheduling, note-taking, and deadline tracking.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience in Finance, Accounting, or related project coordination roles.
  2. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and working knowledge of JIRA, SAP, and SharePoint.
  3. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external consultants.
