The Finance Clerk is responsible for performing financial, administrative, and clerical services for the agency’s day-to-day operations under the direct supervision of the Finance Supervisor. The Finance Clerk will be trained to perform various tasks within Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Benefits, and Electronic Filing Systems. Given the traditional practices of the Anishinabek, from time to time exposure to wood smoke and the burning of sacred medicines, including tobacco, sweet grass, sage, or cedar, may occur within the work setting. Candidates must live within the service area.
