The Finance Business Partner plays a critical role in connecting financial insights with operational strategy. By serving as a bridge between finance and key business functions, this role ensures that decisions are grounded in data and aligned with long-term financial goals. This is a hybrid role based in our Montréal office location.
Target Salary for this role is $125,000-$140,000 CAD + annual bonus
In This Role, Your Main Accountabilities Will Be
- Lead the analysis and reporting of country-level financial statements, delivering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and report orders, revenue, backlog, and fixed costs to track financial health and identify growth opportunities.
- Partner cross-functionally with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Accounting, Operations, and Treasury teams to ensure cohesive financial execution and alignment.
- Drive accuracy in revenue recognition and cash flow forecasts, contributing to financial planning, risk mitigation, and long-term business sustainability.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting cycle, helping business units plan effectively.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating financial data into strategic insights that drive operational excellence.
To make the above work, we are seeking a finance professional with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting.
- 5+ years of finance or accounting experience; at least 2 years of experience in a senior finance role.
- Experience performing and monitoring internal controls.
- Relevant international experience and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office/computer skills and solid SAP knowledge/experience (CO/FI) preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French. Fluency in French is required. English is also required to communicate regularly with clients outside of Quebec.
