Finance Analyst

We are currently seeking candidates for the role of Finance Analyst – NBM Railways, reporting to the Leader, Financial Planning and Analysis. This role is based in Saint John, NB. #LI-MG1

Qualifications

• CPA Designation
• Bachelor’s degree in business/commerce
• 2-3 years of relevant finance work experience
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
• Keen interest in data analytics and strong analytical skills (training in Tableau, TM1 & Alteryx will be provided)
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Able to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial analysis in support of financial business decisions
• Forecasting, reporting, and analysis of key operational and financial metrics
• Assist with preparation of internal and external presentation materials
• Participate in the quarterly review and budget preparations and analysis
• Benchmark reporting and analysis
• Special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required.
