Finance Analyst

Job Description

We are currently seeking candidates for the role of Finance Analyst – NBM Railways, reporting to the Leader, Financial Planning and Analysis. This role is based in Saint John, NB.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare financial analysis in support of financial business decisions
2. Forecasting, reporting, and analysis of key operational and financial metrics
3. Assist with preparation of internal and external presentation materials
4. Participate in the quarterly review and budget preparations and analysis
5. Benchmark reporting and analysis
6. Special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required

Qualifications

1. CPA Designation
2. Bachelor’s degree in business/commerce
3. 2-3 years of relevant finance work experience
4. Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
5. Keen interest in data analytics and strong analytical skills (training in Tableau, TM1 & Alteryx will be provided)
6. Continuous improvement mindset
7. Able to work as part of a team and independently
