Description du poste:

TD Enterprise Finance is responsible for developing and delivering financial strategy along with information and management support on an enterprise-wide basis for TD Bank Group (TD), consistent with the enterprise risk appetite of TD.

In other words, we're the big-picture people. Our mandate encompasses all the components that keep the entire enterprise moving forward. We look after financial management and regulatory reporting, enterprise strategy and decision support (including financial analysis, planning and forecasting plus performance management). Our team also supports taxation, investor relations, financial control and governance along with the implementation of finance systems and processes.

About the Program:

Our Finance and Accounting Associate Rotational Program is an immersive 24-month program designed to help you step into our world of financial management, strategy and processes through financial reporting, forecasting, planning and project assignments. The goal of the program is to develop leaders within the Finance organization.

We’re looking for individuals who have a curiosity for data analysis, an appreciation for the rigors of reporting and forecasting with the tenacity to ensure accuracy and quality.

In this program you’ll rotate across TD Finance corporate groups approximately every six months, which can include:

  • Accounting Policy and Advisory
  • Business Finance Reporting (Wealth, Wholesale, Personal Banking, TD Insurance, Business Banking, etc.)
  • Corporate Finance Reporting (Technology, Digital Channels, Marketing, Enterprise Data & Analytics, etc.)
  • North American Management Reporting
  • Financial & Regulatory Reporting
  • Data Governance and Analytics
  • Digitization, Automation and Innovation

We align rotation opportunities with our business strategies to ensure you work on the most important priorities.

What You’ll Do:

No matter where you work at TD you'll make a meaningful impact, grow your skills and thrive in our culture of care. Here's what that means for each rotation in our program.

Make an Impact:

  • Use your strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to add value to each rotation you're assigned
  • Apply accounting and finance principles to prepare ad hoc analyses, forecasts and business cases in support of business initiatives and in-depth research projects
  • Carve out opportunities for continued enhancements to business processes and make recommendations within assigned area(s) of responsibility

Experience Growth:

  • Participate in transformation and innovation activities to ensure Finance efficiently leverages data and technology to drive better, more sustainable business values
  • Build a diverse skill set, implement process improvements and develop the confidence to tackle challenging tasks in an entirely new area of Enterprise Finance

Cultivate Our Culture of Care:

  • Build networks within the organization through interaction with Peer Advisors, eventually becoming a Peer Advisor for other associates to demonstrate your leadership skills through sharing your learnings and experiences

Colleague Development:

If you’re interested in a specific career path or are looking to build certain skills, we want to help you succeed. Receive regular career, development and performance conversations with your manager, as well as access to an online learning platform and a variety of mentoring programs to help you unlock future opportunities.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Committed to pursuing a career in Finance and Accounting and curious about new technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities, qualitative and quantitative
  • Can sort through large data to draw insights, tell the story and identify the next steps
