Field Plant Operator

Job Opportunity: Field/Plant Operator

Techmation Electric & Controls is looking for an experienced Field/Plant Operator for our Fort St John branch. Individuals must be knowledgeable about current OH&S legislation and conversant with the industry standards and practices of today’s safety-focused Oil & Gas sector.

This position offers an 8/6 shift with the opportunity to be home every night! Due to the nature of this project, no camp or LOA is available. Candidates must live within the Fort St John region to be considered.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience with gas wells, compression, and dehy is required.
2. Must have current Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and CSO certificates.
3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work within a team environment are required.
4. Must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone and complete routine tasks.
5. Must live within commuting distance of Fort St John, BC.
6. Preference will be given to applicants with a limited company and truck.
