We are seeking a highly experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Montreal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in U.S. and Canadian benefits administration and extensive experience with ADP Workforce. This role will play a key part in ensuring compliance with employment laws, managing benefits programs, and supporting HR operations across both regions. The HR Generalist will support all people & culture initiatives related to benefits, talent acquisition, engagement, learning and development, and HR compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR processes, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining HRIS systems.
- ADP Workforce Management: Serve as the subject matter expert for ADP Workforce, ensuring accurate payroll and HR data management.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee and administer U.S. and Canadian benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with Quebec, Canadian, and U.S. employment laws and maintain HR records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Employee Relations: Support employee inquiries related to benefits and HR policies, ensuring a positive employee experience.
- HR Projects: Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives, such as performance management, compensation, and employee engagement programs.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a U.S. and Canadian HR environment.
- Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce and HRIS systems.
- In-depth experience with Canadian and U.S. benefits programs, including health, retirement, and leave policies.
- Solid understanding of Quebec, Canadian, and U.S. labor laws and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple HR functions with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual English & French is required.
