What you'll do:

1. Knowledgeable of the different product lines for Animal Health products, feed, and farm equipment.
2. Responsible for the oversight and management of a store with multiple product categories.
3. Provide operational direction and oversight in the implementation of programs and policies.
4. Manage growth of sales to improve profitability and make recommendations and oversee store pricing, promotions, and products.
5. Provide recommendations for major maintenance repairs and expense items and ensure the store maintains proper housekeeping.
6. Oversee adherence to brand and merchandising standards, marketing efforts, image standards, safety, and asset protection.
7. Responsible for the procurement of merchandise and ensure all ordering schedules are followed and inventory control programs meet customer requirements.
8. Provide guidance to Department Managers to promote the sale of slow-moving merchandise and/or discontinue slow-moving and obsolete lines. Responsible for ensuring the proper receiving and warehousing procedures are in effect.
9. Assign sales objectives for each department and ensure store goals are met.
10. Examine all operating statements for the store to ensure efficient operations and address any concerns where necessary.
11. Assume direct responsibility for all cash handled in the store and ensure company procedures are followed in respect to purchase orders and accounts receivable.
12. Responsible for the proper transferring and mark-down records as per company policy.
13. Other duties as assigned.
