About the Role
Are you passionate about preserving and promoting the language, culture, heritage, and wellness of West Moberly First Nations? Join our team as a Family Representative, where you will play a key role in fostering cultural connections, supporting traditional practices, and building impactful programs and services. As part of a dynamic committee of four Family Representatives, you’ll work closely with Elders, community members, and various West Moberly First Nations departments to celebrate and revitalize the vibrant traditions of the Nation. This is more than a role, it’s an opportunity to honor the past, enrich the present, and inspire the future.
This is a full-time in-person position requiring the successful candidate to be located at the lake, in Chetwynd or Hudson Hope areas. This position has an hourly wage between $31-37. In addition, there is a robust RRSP program, a comprehensive benefits package, and, if needed, a relocation package. One Family Representative will be selected for each of Dokkie, Brown, Miller, and Desjarlais families. Applicants will be required to identify their family affiliation.
