Caregiver (Elderly Care) Job Description

We are currently seeking a caregiver for elderly care.

Responsibilities:

1. Administer bedside and personal care
2. Launder clothing and household linens
3. Mend clothing and linens
4. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
5. Provide companionship
6. Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Hours of Work: As required to meet requirements, generally 30 or 40 hours per week.

Hourly Wage: $15.25 and overtime pay as required by the Act respecting labour standards

Vacation: 2 weeks

Job Type: Full-time

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Location: Montreal, QC

Accommodation: Available at no charge, including:

– Room size: 4 x 3 m
Note: Optional accommodation available on a live-in basis, not a condition of employment.

Employment Requirements:

1. Completion of high school
2. Must speak English or French
3. 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
