Faculty, Business Administration: Sustainability and Business Management

BCIT’s School of Business and Media is seeking a temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE) Faculty, Business Administration to teach in the area of Sustainability and Business Management up to and including the undergraduate level.

Duties & Responsibilities

We are seeking an individual who is committed to quality and innovation in meeting our students’ needs and who values the importance of teamwork in the workplace.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Master’s degree in an appropriate area.
2. Recent relevant work and/or teaching experience.
3. Desire and ability to teach and to support learning processes.
4. Ability to work with a diverse student body.
5. Willing to use, or explore and learn to use, information technology tools as aids to student learning.
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
7. Willing to become fully involved in departmental activities and initiatives.
8. Ability to work in a collegial environment.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Doctorate degree.
2. Minimum 5 years experience teaching in a post-secondary educational institution face-to-face and in the online environment.
3. Membership or certification in appropriate professional bodies.
4. Recent management and leadership experience.

Salary Range

Salary Range: $65,045 - $113,545 per annum.

Additional Salary Information

Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
