Experienced Mechanic

Bunclody Golf & Fishing Club are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanic. Reporting to the Course Superintendent, the successful candidate will work closely alongside the Greenkeeping team to maintain our championship golf course to the highest standards.

Our maintenance facility comprises a 2-tier facility with a state-of-the-art workshop consisting of, but not limited to, a lift, welders, grinders, press, and power tools. The club has invested heavily in new golf course machinery which is arriving in early 2023.

Job Description

1. Repair and maintenance of all golf course equipment
2. Carry out preventative maintenance for all equipment
3. Inspect machinery for operation deficiencies
4. Repair work carried out to the highest standard
5. Complete maintenance records
6. Demonstrate use of equipment and train operators
7. Maintain inventory of parts and supplies
8. Maintain a clean workshop
9. Communicate and plan with the Course Superintendent
10. Grind and sharpen precision grass cutting equipment; full training can be provided
11. Implement workshop operation procedures in conjunction with the Course Superintendent
12. Take responsibility for the operation of the workshop
13. Work on their own initiative
