RAMPART S.S.G Corp. is currently looking to hire part-time loss prevention officers in Calgary, Red Deer, and Edmonton.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Alberta Security License (required)
2. Reliable mode of transportation (required)
3. PPCT and handcuff training (required)
4. Must be proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing, listening)
5. MUST be RELIABLE, MUST have a positive attitude and MUST be kind, calm, and sensible
6. Must be knowledgeable in safety procedures (First aid is required)
7. Valid Driver's license and access to a vehicle (asset)
8. Respectful and eager to learn
9. Must be able to provide great customer service
10. Must be able to work efficiently in a team or alone

Duties of a Loss Prevention Officer include:

1. Detecting and preventing theft and fraud in a retail or commercial setting
2. Conducting surveillance, using cameras and other monitoring tools
3. Intervening in criminal or suspicious activities
4. Apprehending shoplifters and other criminals
5. Using verbal judo to deescalate all situations and making arrests when necessary
6. Maintaining detailed records of incidents and investigations
7. Cooperating with law enforcement agencies
8. Providing customer service, resolving customer complaints, and responding to emergencies
9. Training staff in loss prevention techniques and safety procedures
10. Implementing loss prevention policies and procedures
11. Conducting internal investigations and audits

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
