Responsibilities:

1. Combines layers of previously created materials (e.g., rendered animation, special effects, graphics, live action, static background plates) to create final images that meet art direction.
2. Integrates foreground, mid-ground, and background scenes to extend a set, scene, environment, or effect and incorporates characters or digital objects into scenes.
3. Creates seamless transition from filmed footage into composited content.
4. Accountable for meeting productivity and quota targets.

Qualifications:

1. Able to composite multiple types of shots from simple to moderately difficult.
2. In-depth knowledge of relevant software including Nuke.
3. Minimum of 3 years of progressively complex experience in production or feature film preferred.

Salary:

The anticipated base salary for a Senior position is $45.34 to $65.10/hr. Benefits are per company policy, which include healthcare, tuition reimbursement, RRSP's, Sick and Vacation leave, and standard increases as applicable. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and, if applicable, the location of the position.
