Job description

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in leading a talented kitchen team, providing hands-on guidance and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
  • Support menu development and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, authentic Italian dishes.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food preparation, and quality control.
  • Mentor and train culinary staff, helping to build a high-performance team.
  • Ensure that food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen organization standards are maintained at all times.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and management team to ensure kitchen operations align with the restaurant's business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cusine in a high-end, high-volume Italian restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for authentic Italian cuisine.
  • Leadership skills with a focus on teamwork, mentorship, and development of kitchen staff.
  • Understanding of back-of-house financials, including food costing and inventory control.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment.
