- Targeted Salary Range: $60,639.60-$72,009.53
- Work Mode: Hybrid (2 Days Per Week)
- Location: 5310 Explorer Dr, Mississauga
- Hours of Work: 8:30am-4:30pm

The targeted salary range is supplemented by a competitive total rewards package. The salary offered to the successful candidate will consider factors such as the individual’s skillset, level of experience applicable to the role, and internal equity considerations.
Job Responsibilities
Ornge is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This critical role involves providing high-level administrative support to the CFO, managing calendars, coordinating meetings, supporting the creation of presentation materials, and handling confidential information with discretion. The Executive Assistant will also act as a liaison between the CFO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and facilitating efficient operations within the finance department.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintains and prioritizes the executive’s calendar.
- Ensures the effective and efficient workflow between the executive’s office and internal and external clients.
- Regularly interacts with and manages relationships with internal and external partners at the executive/senior level, including the Board.
- Queries requests that appear to be incomplete, non-compliant, or unusual.
- Follows up with the executive on requests for additional approval information.
- Ensures that reasonable deadlines are set in the context of other work requirements.
- Monitors the progress of interim work products.
- Ensures deadlines are met.
- Provides confidential assistance to the executive.
- Drafts and/or edits correspondence, policies, and other documents.
- Organizes and oversees corporate events on behalf of the CXO.
- May support the creation of presentation materials for Board, executive, and other meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Administration or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5-6 years of experience.
- Administrative experience at the executive level.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
- Experience working with Boards.
- Experience working in the broader public sector is preferred.
- Experience in an aviation, healthcare, or related environment is preferred.
- Experience working in a unionized environment preferred.
