EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT – Leduc, AB

The Opportunity

Our Leduc based client is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The main function of this position is to provide daily support to the President as well as support to the Senior Executives as required. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a high degree of discretion and experience managing confidential information. Experience and confidence in your ability to anticipate the needs of the President is the key to success in this position.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  1. Provide administrative support to the President, including calendar management, travel coordination and e-mail management (experience in triaging emails and responding on the President's behalf as needed).
  2. Prepare, proofread and edit documents, reports, and presentations for meetings and as needed.
  3. Organize and maintain files, records and databases.
  4. Coordinate and organize meetings, including logistics, agenda and report preparation, minute taking and action items.
  5. Oversee company manuals, update and distribute to staff as needed.
  6. Assist 3 Vice Presidents with travel needs and expense claim reporting.
  7. Additional administrative duties as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an Executive Assistant.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in business, administration, communication or related field.
  3. Advanced Microsoft 365 skills including strong PowerPoint skills.
  4. Experience and knowledge of SharePoint.
  5. Experience preparing agendas, presentations, action items and minute-taking skills.
  6. Strong critical thinking skills with an excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Excellent organizational and time management skills along with an ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary commensurate with experience.
3 weeks paid vacation to start and paid time off between Christmas and New Years!
