We’re looking for our next Event Coordinator. Could it be you?

The Events Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality events, as directed by the Manager, National Sales Support & Events. This includes supporting the business development team in maintaining top quality presence and supporting the department at regional and national events. The Events Coordinator will be assisting in sourcing, planning, administrating, and executing regular industry and partner engagement events throughout the markets we operate in.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan and execute regular events across the GTA and surrounding area, including speaking engagements, conferences, tradeshows, partner appreciation events and thought leadership sessions.
  • Execute event logistics, including coordination with vendors, facilities, rentals, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with administrative aspects of events, including new requests for support, event calendar management, promotional item inventory, critical paths, and invoicing.
  • Collaborate with various internal business units and conduct independent research to identify new opportunities for participation in industry events.
  • Work with the internal marketing team to develop pre and post event engagement campaigns.
  • Provide on-site event support (set-up, tear-down, on-site social media coverage, additional tasks as required).
  • Conduct internal event post-mortems to gather feedback and provide insight into successes and learning opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to both internal and external requests from clients and partners.
  • Provide general marketing support to the Marketing & Brand Management team.

So are YOU our next Event Coordinator? You are if you…

  • Have 1-2 years of experience in event creation, coordination and execution.
  • Have a diploma or degree in event management or project management
  • Have the ability to travel to events across the GTA
  • Have valid driver’s license and regular access to a vehicle
  • Have proven a high level of organizational and time management skills, using self-direction and sound judgment to coordinate multiple demands and deadlines.
  • Have confidence and professionalism while representing Community Trust to event attendees.
  • Have exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills in an event setting.
  • Have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign and CRM software

Additional information:

  • Occasional domestic travel may be required
  • Working during occasional "off-hour" events
