Estimating Manager

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an Estimating Manager to work for an amazing EPCM client in Vancouver, BC. This position comes with a great opportunity to work on medium to large sized projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development of total project estimates for large-scale projects.
2. Develop and maintain work processes, standards, guidelines, and systems.
3. Organize and prioritize multiple complex projects and tasks to meet deadlines.
4. Review and validate estimate quality, planning, staffing, and training.
5. Coordinate estimate development with project teams.
6. Establish benchmarks and historical data for estimate validation.
7. Ensure departmental and company requirements are met.
8. Support strategic objectives and initiatives for estimating.
9. Prepare project basis of estimate and risk analysis.
10. Provide technical and administrative directions to the estimating team.
11. Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

1. Accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering with 20 years of relevant experience.
2. Proficient in sales, technical empathy, estimating tools, construction management, and business management.
3. Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
4. Knowledgeable in Lump Sum and Cost Reimbursable estimating.
5. Knowledge about process facilities in the Mining Industry is preferred.
6. Familiarity with Self-Perform and Construction Management Execution.
7. Strong technical and communication skills to guide clients to optimal solutions.
8. Ability to understand and apply local, state/province, and federal/national regulations.
9. Excellent writing skills for clear and concise communication.
10. Effective communication skills with various stakeholders, including management, coworkers, clients, and vendors.
