The Escrow Analyst I is primarily responsible for the timely administration of advanced requirements related to insurance, taxes, and escrow accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of escrow lines in the servicing system
  • Performing Escrow Analyses in the servicing system
  • Determining root causes for payment changes, overages and shortages
  • Assist with working all aspects of insurance, tax, escrow analysis and MI/PMI
  • Error recognition and troubleshooting
  • Gather data and documents to respond to internal audits
  • Manage assigned pipeline to ensure all items are worked accurately and processed in a timely manner
  • Liaise between all third-party vendors and ensure escalations are responded to timely and accurately
  • Review control reports to ensure compliance with state, regulatory and investor guidelines
  • Complete various audits for the monthly vendor scorecard
  • Read and reference job aids
  • Pre and Post Board Loan Data Review
  • Vendor Letter Management- Content and change management
  • Other escrow responsibilities and projects as assigned by management

Requirements

Position Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of escrow servicing experience in a banking or mortgage company
  • Attention to detail, comfortable working with numbers, and strong Excel skills
  • Ability to create and use Excel spreadsheets while mastering V-Lookup and filter functionality to manage data collected
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent listening, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of escrow functions and workstations in an MSP platform environment
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong experience with mortgage terminology

Education

  • High School diploma and/or some college
