About the Role:
As an Environmental Technical Specialist - Intermediate, you’ll oversee and manage environmental programs, providing technical expertise on projects that focus on waste management, pollution prevention, and emergency response. This role combines fieldwork, data analysis, and report preparation, allowing you to apply your technical skills while collaborating with a team of experts. You will play an integral role in environmental permitting, impact assessments, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

What You will Do:

1. Oversee and execute environmental projects, including waste management and pollution prevention
2. Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures
3. Manage project budgets, scopes, and timelines
4. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external stakeholders
5. Lead the preparation and review of technical reports
6. Provide technical and regulatory advice to clients
7. Ensure full compliance with local, provincial, and federal environmental regulations
8. Work both independently and collaboratively with project teams

What you bring to the table:

1. Technical diploma or degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or a related field; 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting
2. Registered in or a member in good standing of a professional organization (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., P.Chem., or R.P.Bio.)
3. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards, with proven experience in technical and regulatory consulting
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports
5. Willingness to work long hours, travel, and work in outdoor environments in various weather conditions
