Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our Resilience Team in Calgary, Alberta. More specifically, the potential Project Manager will join our Evaluation and Restoration (ER) Division. As a Project Manager within our ER division, individuals with direct experience dealing with Contaminated Sites, Site Remediation, and Monitoring will be required, as well as direct experience with the coordination and management of environmental site assessment projects including:
Using both provincial and federal regulatory frameworks, diligent interpretation of environmental data, the comparison of sample results to applicable standards/guidelines and data QA/QC, along with industry best practices is expected. The successful candidate will join a growing team to provide project management, technical support, and leadership. The Project Manager will support and mentor intermediate and junior staff with a focus on health and safety, team collaboration, high quality work, innovation, efficiency, and focused client relationships. The successful candidate will also work with other like-minded individuals to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations.
The Project Manager is a hybrid role with the option to work remote or at one of our Arcadis offices. Be responsible for ensuring that site/client project management (non-technical) objectives are defined and met (i.e., scope, schedule, cost). Prepare and review reports, work plans, specifications, and proposals; manage technical budgets and provide oversight of intermediate and junior staff work for regulatory compliance and technical accuracy, QA/QC. Contribute to ongoing technical knowledge and innovation initiatives within Arcadis.
Individuals with:
Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering or related field. 5+ years of direct experience with respect to Contaminated Sites and Site Remediation. Direct experience within the fields of Engineering, Geoscience, and Technology with a focus on Site Investigations, Remediation, Risk Management and Environmental Monitoring. Professional must be able to sign off reports and be in good standing in accordance with Alberta regulations.
