Enterprise Architect

Job Title: Enterprise Architect

Location: Toronto, ON

Duration: 12+ Months

Daily Responsibilities:

1. Initial primary focus will be on evolving our capital markets GenAI framework and aligning it with the enterprise offering. This will involve collaboration with senior executives on design choices to ensure our domain requirements are incorporated in the target solution.
2. More generally, you’ll help to form and communicate technology guidance to standardize development of commonly needed capabilities. For instance, work with SMEs within markets and enterprise to figure out what our API strategy should be, build consensus, document it on confluence, present it to senior leadership, and show dev teams how to implement it.
3. In addition, you’ll review proposed architectures to align specific team requirements to high level goals of capital markets leadership and the bank.

Required Skills:

1. Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly
2. Interpersonal skills
3. Strong understanding of software architecture (patterns, components, etc.)
4. Strong understanding of programming (language pros/cons, threading implications, etc.)
5. Strong understanding of data technologies (stores, access patterns, caching, etc.)
6. Broad understanding of capital markets
7. Foundational knowledge of machine learning and deep learning
8. Understanding of model architectures (transformers, GANs, etc.)
9. Understanding of GenAI capabilities / use cases and concerns / considerations
10. Understanding of prompt engineering and RAG techniques
11. Understanding of Ethical AI and responsible implementation
12. Knowledge of data processing and management
13. Experience with large language models (LLMs)
14. Experience working on GenAI solutions in large, regulated organizations

Nice-to-have:

1. Deep understanding of capital markets products
2. Ability to influence others
3. Experience with cloud architecture
