Current Openings in Calgary:

1. We are seeking a High school English Teacher to deliver lessons with a focus on High School English curriculum. Materials are provided, with the opportunity to adapt lessons for compensation.
2. As a High school English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our students by providing them with a strong foundation in English.
3. High school English Teachers are expected to be passionate about education and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential.
4. These positions are in-class and taught in person, requiring High school English Teachers to be present and engaged with their students.
5. These positions are NOT for online teaching, so High school English Teachers must be available to work in our Calgary location.

Specific Responsibilities for High school English Teachers:

1. Group class teaching/tutoring for High school English;
2. One to One teaching/tutoring for High school English;
3. Grading assessments and assignments for High school English;
4. Providing feedback about students' performance in High school English;
5. Meeting and consulting with the service team to answer questions and provide information about High school English.

Required Qualifications for High school English Teachers:

1. At least one year of teaching experience in CANADIAN public, Catholic, or private High School (NOT in tutoring institutions).
2. A willingness to work outside of public school hours.
3. A positive and inclusive growth-mindset.
4. Good teaching skills and an affinity for children, especially in the context of High school English.
5. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications for High school English Teachers:

1. Canadian teaching or interim certificate.
2. Education degree from a Canadian University, preferably with a focus on High school English.
3. Familiarity with WeChat, PPT, ClassIn, and Zoom.
4. Familiarity with local curriculum and provincial exams (AB).
5. Flexible schedule to adapt to various class times and student needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
