$250/day all-inclusive including HST for >200km from PLNGS
Qualifications for each vacancy are:
- E1 – Member in Training: University graduate from an accredited engineering program. Undertakes simple or routine tasks under close supervision. Work is reviewed for accuracy and conformance with prescribed procedure. Few technical decisions are made without oversight. Years of Engineering experience 0-3.
- E2 – Junior Project Engineer: University graduate from an accredited engineering program. The individual has obtained professional status and is licensed to practise as an Engineer in the jurisdiction in which the work is to be performed. Assignments are of limited scope and complexity. Work supervised in detail. Assists more senior team members. May give guidance to technicians, technologists, contractor, and/or other employees. Years of licensed Engineering experience - minimum 4.
- E3 – Intermediate Project Engineer: University graduate from an accredited engineering program. A fully qualified professional, independently responsible for varied assignments. Work not generally supervised in detail; however, difficult or complex issues are typically referred to a more senior authority. May give guidance to one or two other professionals, but supervision is not usually a continuing responsibility. Years of licensed Engineering experience - minimum of 7.
- E4 – Senior Engineer/Discipline Lead: University graduate from an accredited engineering program. First level of direct and sustained supervision over professionals or full specialization. Recommendations may be reviewed for soundness of judgement but usually accepted as technically accurate and feasible. Years of licensed Engineering experience - minimum of 10.
- E5 – Senior Specialist Engineer: University graduate from an accredited engineering program. As a specialist, may engage in research or advanced technical studies. Recommendations generally accepted except perhaps those involving large sums of money or long-range objectives. Reviews the work of less senior professionals. Years of licensed Engineering experience - greater than 20 and possesses advanced credentials such as specialty certification.
- E6 – Senior Engineer Manager: University graduate from an accredited engineering program. Has received recognition as an authority in a professional field. As a specialist, may engage in research or advanced technical studies, act as a regulatory Expert witness experience and/or have specialized experience relative to the utility business. Reviews the work of less senior professionals. Work is reviewed only to ensure conformity with policy and in coordination with other groups and functions. Performs advisory or consulting work for the organization for broad program areas or an intensely specialized area with innovative or important aspects. Years of Engineering experience - greater than 25 and possesses advanced credentials such as specialty certification.
Projects Include:Aux boiler replacement, Water Treatment Plant Upgrades, Large Transformer Replacement, Elevator Replacement, Switchgear Replacement, Motor Control Center (MCC) Replacement, Moisture Separator Reheater (MSR) Upgrade, Various Process monitoring PLCs, Warehouse Upgrades, Buildings and Structures Repairs/Designs for new buildings and facilities, Ventilation Repairs/Modifications, and Seismic Analysis.
