Job description

AECOM is currently seeking an Engineering Technician based in our Regina, SK, Canada office.

This is a temporary position expected to last 4 months starting in May 2025.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides basic support in the areas of project controls, scheduling, scheduling analysis, earned value management, and construction inspection activities in support of projects.
  • Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining project documentation.
  • General understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
  • Performs routine tasks while working under close supervision.
  • Entry-level position, previous experience may not be required.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Accuracy with details is essential
  • Ability to meticulously review project documentation, drawings, and reports for accuracy.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently and creatively in the field.
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to assist with documentation, reporting, and data management.
  • Engineering students or individuals with a strong interest in engineering are preferred.
