SUMMARY
This position responds to any maintenance repair requests, assesses the problem, and repairs or refers the situation to a supervisor for further action in a timely manner. Responsible for keeping all Resort property and equipment in good repair so guest satisfaction is achieved. Will design, construct or repair any carpentry needs throughout the entire property and monitor and repair any painting, wallpaper, tile, doors, carpet or drywall needs in the resort.

Engineering is a service department that requires an interpersonal skill set to work with guests, other engineering staff members, resort team members and other departments. Teamwork in providing professional service must include the ability to communicate in a way that assures those receiving service that engineering is addressing their specific needs.

Engineering is a service department so a service mentality is a critical skill. Dealing with deadlines and schedules are typical expectations of engineering personnel. Follow through and attention to detail is expected. During emergencies, engineering is expected to be knowledgeable and able to provide proficient service.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment in a safe and productive manner.
COMMENTS
Native American Preference will apply. Must be able to pass a background investigation and an Oral Drug Screen as a condition of employment. Must be able to work flexible hours and take on additional responsibilities when asked. Must adhere to company policies regarding strict confidentiality.
