Engineering Manager

Position Title: Engineering Manager

Location: Windsor

Reports To: Site Leader

Responsibilities

1. Supervise and direct engineering staff to address the prioritized needs of the organization
2. Reads and interprets blueprints, symbols and geometric tolerances based on military and commercial specifications
3. Create and improve shop travellers/routers
4. Manages engineering and process improvement projects
5. Manages software control
6. Provide evaluation and disposition of discrepant material
7. Technical liaison with customer engineering and quality personnel
8. Manages Capital Projects

Selection Criteria

1. BS in Engineering
2. MS in Engineering or MBA preferred
3. Minimum of 5 years of engineering management experience; prefer that experience in the aerospace industry
4. Familiarity with specifications, blueprints and requirements for aerospace component manufacturing that includes having knowledge of aerospace welding, coatings, heat treatment, machining and sheet metal fabrications
5. Documented formal process improvement experience
6. Knowledge of CNC machining
7. Works well with people; good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to lift 40 pounds. Must pass pre-employment references and background check.
