Position Title: Engineering Lab Technician - Electrical/Instrumentation (Staff & Management)
Position Summary: The School of Trades and Technology is looking for an Engineering Technology Lab Technician – Electrical/Instrumentation. The Engineering Technology Lab Technician will provide self-directed technical support for the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Labs. The successful candidate must be able to troubleshoot, solve problems and repair tools and equipment under tight timelines. The successful candidate is required to support students and instructors in the School of Trades and Technology through the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment as well as the installation, testing and calibration of equipment. This position will also support related activities throughout the School of Trades and Technology when required. This position is a full-time position and is required for 5 days per week (35 hours).
Salary: $67,772 - $79,283 annually
Benefits and Compensation Information: An additional 15% of the hourly rate in lieu of vacation, statutory holidays and benefits.
