SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Engineer in Training (EIT)
Working in Guelph, ON Canada

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Using your expertise to develop best-in-class engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects
  • Working with both conventional methodologies and developing new approaches
  • Preparing and selecting both existing and renewed equipment and methodology
  • Developing drawings, calculations, manuals, and other key documents
  • Ensuring efficient execution that delivers the right results for the customer
  • Supporting the operations department and field staff during the execution of project work.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
  • English, fluent proficiency verbal and written
  • French proficiency is considered an asset
  • Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining considered an asset
