The SEPI branch is a centre of excellence within the Consultation, Land and Policy CLP division. SEPI provides a strong foundation of policy development, strategic engagement, expert advice and relationship building through engagement, education, training, and capacity funding to ensure Alberta fulfills its duty to consult in matters related to land and natural resource management while considering the needs of all parties; including partner ministries, Indigenous communities and organizations, industry, municipalities and regulators.

A University degree in a related field (Natural Resources, Environmental Management, Environmental Sciences, Indigenous Studies, Public Policy, History, Political Science, Geography, Law, Anthropology, etc.) supplemented by a minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible related experience is required.
