YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
You will report to the MOC Lead as part of the Projects team under the Energy and Infrastructure Department and will collaborate with other departments of the mine. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.
- Administrative Support: Assist the MOC Lead with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing project documentation, and tracking project progress;
- Resource Management: Ensure that project resources are available and properly allocated prior to the team coming on site;
- Communication: Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed about project developments;
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain project reports, meeting minutes, and other necessary documentation;
- Coordination: Help coordinate tasks and activities to keep the project on track;
- Evaluation: Review scope, conduct site inspections, gather stakeholder information, prepare proposals, and validate engineering assumptions;
- Planning: Review project details, procure BOM, schedule workforce, confirm equipment, and develop documents;
- Execution: Provide info to supervisor and MOC Lead, follow up daily, update stakeholders, and manage scope changes;
- Commissioning: Finalize & redline drawings, conduct QA/QC inspections, and prepare closing reports.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field;
- 5 years+ of experience in project management or a related role;
- Experience in engineering, civil, or mining is an asset;
- Strong organizational, planning and communication skills;
- Proficiency in CAD software, MS Suite and JDE systems;
- Experience in project management and procurement is essential;
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Strong commitment to corporate safety and environmental standards.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 10/10 schedule or Hybrid Schedule with 7 days on site per month (to be discussed). Flights departing from all communities in the Kivalliq region, Mirabel or Val-d’Or, Quebec.
