Employment Lawyer - Fully Remote position

Achkar Law is an employment, labour, and business litigation law firm helping people and businesses across Ontario.

We're expanding and adding two lawyers with at least three years of Ontario litigation experience. The position offers the flexibility of remote work, requiring candidates to have a suitable home office setup.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead litigation cases with confidence and autonomy.
• Draft, review, and manage essential case documents and proceedings.
• Ensure exceptional client service during mediations, discoveries, and court proceedings.
• Treat sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality.
• Employ strategic thinking to navigate complex legal challenges.

Who We Are Looking For

• LL.B. or J.D. from a recognized law school.
• Good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in litigation, particularly in our key practice areas.
• Strong command of English (verbal and written), with French being an additional asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
