Employee Recruitment:

Employee Recruiter & HR Administrator

Reports to: Management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions.
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure the best fit for the company.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline and build relationships with potential candidates.
  • Manage job postings, interview schedules, and job offer processes.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand team needs and job specifications.

Employee Documentation & Paperwork:

  • Handle all employee-related filings, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate employee records (e.g., contracts, onboarding forms, performance reviews, etc.).
  • Process new hire paperwork, including tax forms, benefits enrollment, and other required documents.
  • Manage employee leave of absence paperwork, including medical leaves.
  • Ensure all documents are filed correctly and stored securely.

General HR Administration:

  • Assist with employee benefits administration, ensuring enrollment, updates, and accuracy.
  • Coordinate employee performance reviews, training, and development initiatives.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to paperwork, benefits, and recruitment processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, HR administration, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of employee documentation requirements and HR compliance.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and other HR tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive, self-starter who is highly organized and deadline-driven.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
  • HR certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and HR compliance regulations.
  • Safety compliance knowledge.
  • Payroll experience.

Job Information:

Type: Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Work Location: In person / West Edmonton location
