What You Will Do:
- Facilitate, lead, coordinate and support the Emergency Management Department team in implementation of the programs, processes, procedures and initiatives to ensure consistent and effective application of assigned program elements across operating regions within Canada and the United States.
- Leads, develops and implements the Multi Year Exercise Schedule and Program across Liquids Pipelines.
- Accountable for the growth, improvement, and performance of Program Management Tools such as Exercise Tracking and Control Point Management as appropriate.
- Lead the continued development and implementation of lessons learned from training, exercises, and incidents to ensure continual improvements.
- Leads Significant Exercise planning and execution with ad hoc teams comprised of internal/external partners and Agencies from all levels of government.
- Support integration Emergency Management activities of new assets.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree related to Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, or Emergency Response. For candidates without a degree, we require an additional 3 years of experience.
- Six or more years of directly related experience involving emergency response within the oil and gas industry. Other combinations of education, training and experiences will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative, inspire change, and deliver results.
- Effective interpersonal skills, which includes communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment.
- Approximately 10% travel required for planning and overseeing of activities (this includes travel to the United States). Valid passport required.
