We are looking for an eager self-starter to join us as an Email Marketing & Sales Coordinator. If you are looking for a challenging and exciting new opportunity; this might be the right fit for you!
Who you are
The Email Marketing & Sales Coordinator works closely with the sales, editorial, creative services and digital departments to coordinate and distribute newsletters and promotional emails for our brands and clients. The ideal candidate will work both collaboratively and autonomously within the team structure. This role requires email campaign management experience, with the ability to handle a high volume of projects daily.
What you'll do
- Oversee day-to-day email marketing activities including campaign setup, scheduling, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and fix any problems during email campaign setup, scheduling, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, copywriters, and sales representatives to ensure campaign deliverables are executed according to client's requests and delivered on time.
- Monitor and organize email bookings in Sponsy to ensure ad units are booked and executed accordingly.
- Create and manage email marketing calendars, ensuring timely delivery of newsletters and promotional campaigns.
- Manage subscriber lists and segmentations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.
- Track and analyze advertising performance metrics, such as click-through rates, open rates, conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS), providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure emails comply with CASL and email best practices.
- Setting up display and video campaigns in Google Ad Manager 360 or Teads.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
- Train and understand the roles of the other teams within marketing operations or sales and assist when necessary.
- We are a hybrid working environment where you are required to be in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at our downtown Toronto office located in Liberty Village.
What you have
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in email marketing, sales operations, digital marketing or a related field.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with a major email campaign deployment platform.
- Working knowledge of email best practices.
- Technology savvy, comfortable with technical issues and able to learn various online platforms and technology quickly.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is beneficial, especially when dealing with email templates and ensuring proper rendering across various devices.
- Familiarity with some of our Core Technologies listed below.
- Experience building emails (using template-based emails) is a plus.

- Comfortable working in a highly fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

- Flexible with the proven ability to easily adapt to rapidly changing market conditions and technology trends.
