Electronics Technician – Journeyperson
**Position is located in Grande Prairie, AB**
ROLE STATEMENT:
The Electronics Technician - Journeyperson will be a member of the Maintenance Department responsible for addressing electrical issues and performing preventative maintenance on all components of Calfrac equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electronics Technician - Journeyperson will focus on the repair and maintenance of all Calfrac equipment to company standards.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Work safely in accordance with all company safety policies, procedures, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
- Repair and maintain all Calfrac electrical equipment and components
- Maintain all recording and control software
- Updates and modification requests
- Perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis
- Assist in scheduling and costs for repairs
- Assist in mentoring apprentices and new employees
- Develop a base understanding of fracturing and coiled tubing operations
- Must attend all pre-job meetings and attend safety meetings when required
- Remote field work will be required

SCHEDULE:
- Local: Eight (8) days on, Six (6) days off
- Rotational: Fourteen (14) days on, Fourteen (14) days off
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Accredited technical diploma in the Electronics or Instrumentation field or completion of Journeyman Instrumentation Certification
- 4-6 years of relevant experience
- Advanced understanding of technical concepts is required.
- Good understanding and experience with basic hydraulic systems
- Experienced with electric over hydraulic / air and PLC is considered an asset
- Knowledge of electronic control systems, QA-QC, and troubleshooting
