ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN - This position is located in Grande Prairie, AB
ROLE STATEMENT:
The Electronics Technician - Apprentice will be a member of the Maintenance department responsible for addressing electrical issues and performing preventative maintenance on all components of Calfrac equipment. Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Manager, the Electronics Technician - Apprentice will focus on the repair and maintenance of all Calfrac equipment to company standards.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Work safely in accordance with all company safety policies, procedures, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
Repair and maintain all Calfrac electrical equipment and components
Maintain all recording and control software
Complete updates and modification requests
Perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis
Assist in scheduling and costs for repairs
Develop a base understanding of fracturing, coiled tubing and cementing operations

SCHEDULE:
Local: Eight (8) days on, Six (6) days off
Rotational: Fourteen (14) days on, Fourteen (14) days off
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Enrolled in, or working towards, an accredited one or two year technical school program or Journeyman Instrumentation Certification.
Good understanding and experience with basic hydraulic systems
Experience with electric over hydraulic / air and PLC is considered an asset
High School Diploma/GED preferred
Technical training diploma or certificate in electronics recommended
Knowledge of electronic control systems, QA-QC, and troubleshooting
