Duration: 1 week probation, 1-2 months if selected, possibility of eventual full-time placement afterwards.

We are currently seeking a seasoned Electronics Expert to join our dynamic team on a contract basis.

Position Overview:

The Electronics Expert will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of microcontroller-based hardware and firmware. This role requires a deep understanding of electronics, embedded systems, and firmware programming. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and troubleshooting microcontroller-based systems and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware Design: Design and develop microcontroller-based hardware solutions to meet specific project requirements.
  • Firmware Development: Write, test, and optimize firmware for microcontrollers to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
  • Circuit Design: Create and analyze circuit schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Prototyping: Build and test prototypes to validate designs and ensure they meet performance specifications.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and firmware issues during development and after deployment.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, methodologies, and processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronics and embedded systems and proactively propose innovative solutions to enhance our capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Completed Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electronics and embedded systems, with a proven track record of successful projects.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in microcontroller programming (e.g., ARM, PIC, AVR).
    • Strong understanding of embedded C/C++ programming.
    • Experience with hardware design tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle, KiCad).
    • Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design.
    • Experience with debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex systems and derive actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in electronic research, design, coding/development, and implementation.
  • Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, RFID, Zigbee).
  • Familiarity with IoT platforms and applications.
