Job description

The Electronic Systems Developer is responsible for developing, building and maintaining measurement and configuration system hardware.

Responsibilities:

  1. Development, creation and maintenance of hardware for manufacturing systems.
  2. Design and layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  3. Active maintenance and development of know-how in PCB technologies.
  4. Software development and maintenance for manufacturing systems (LabVIEW).
  5. Ensure on-time delivery of manufacturing systems, taking into account high process stability, cost effectiveness, mass production, ease of use, as well as low maintenance effort.
  6. Support for manufacturing systems in the Sonova Operations Centers, R&D Centers and Regional Centers.
  7. Company internal consulting in measuring technology.
  8. Creation and maintenance of the required technical documentation and procedures according to external regulations and internal SOPs.

More about you:

  1. Education in Electronics – vocational training or higher education like BSc in Electronics, Automation or similar.
  2. 2 years professional experience in electronic design.
  3. PCD and PCB design and layout experience.
  4. Experience using Altium Designer.

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova.
