Job Description

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years or equivalent experience

Tasks:

1. Inspect products to determine the requirements for repair
2. Install electronic equipment
3. Repair electronic equipment
4. Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies
5. Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools
6. Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults
7. Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
8. Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies
9. Calibrate products using hand tools
10. Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports
11. Prepare cost estimates
12. Supervise other electronic equipment service technicians
13. Read blueprints and drawings
14. Provide customer service
