Electromechanical Technician

Job Title: Electromechanical Technician (Full Time)
Location: Oxford, Nova Scotia/Moncton, NB
Pay Rate: $21.84-$34.86 per hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-7:00PM /40 per week- Rotational

Responsibilities:

1. Work independently while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
2. Troubleshoot and perform moderate repairs in a highly automated factory setting.
3. Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance inspections and repairs.
4. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs when necessary.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
6. Repair automated mechanical systems and electro-mechanical equipment.
7. Test, operate, and maintain robotic and automated packaging equipment.
8. Troubleshoot computer-controlled production equipment.
9. Possess a technical understanding of automated production processes operating through PLCs.
10. Ensure the safe and effective operation of mechanical equipment.
11. Use meters to diagnose electrical circuits accurately.
12. Available to work shift work as required.

Candidate Qualifications:

1. Red Seal Journeyman Industrial Mechanic / Millwright considered an asset.
2. Stainless steel welding and fabrication experience would be considered an asset.
3. Experience in a manufacturing environment would be considered an asset.
4. Must have your own vehicle.
5. Clean Criminal Record.
