Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Journeyman and Electrical Apprentices to join our team. Our projects range from residential and commercial to light industrial. The current projects are primarily commercial, including the LaSalle College project in Vancouver and the Kaslo at Renfrew District project, featuring two 7-storey towers with extensive office space. Upon completion, the team will transition to a new Tesla project.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations and maintenance in commercial and residential settings.
• Run and bend conduit, pull wire, and cable.
• Conduct rough-in electrical work for wood frame and steel stud/concrete construction.
• Read and interpret blueprints for suite rough wiring in steel stud/concrete buildings.
• Splice devices neatly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) as it applies to residential and commercial construction.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3rd or 4th-year apprentice, ideally Journeyman.
• Experience with electrical wood frame and steel stud/concrete construction.
• Concrete slab experience, including layout and piping.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of splicing devices and rough-in electrical work.
• Current knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
• Positive attitude, respectfulness, and teamwork skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Fall protection certification.

Work Environment

• Current projects are located in Burnaby and Vancouver, with the major project being LaSalle College in Vancouver.
• The Kaslo at Renfrew District project features two 7-storey towers with 218,350 sq. ft of office space.
• Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a long term position based out of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $60.00/hr.
