Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the Industrial Electrician will be a self-starter with a “Can Do” attitude and the ability to adapt in a fast paced, dynamic, continuous 4 x 4, 12-hour shift schedule work environment.

Salary Range: $26.11 - $37.30
Responsibilities
Promote and maintain a safe work environment
Follow all safety and food safety policies and procedures
Analyze, inspect, repair, troubleshoot, advise and maintain electrical systems throughout Cavendish Farms facility including all production and facility equipment
Day to day maintenance of equipment
Troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance
Involvement in projects and new equipment installations
Participation in or conducting training on familiarity with equipment
Be willing and able to learn all aspects of the business inside of all departments
Communicate with production personnel and technical staff within maintenance and suppliers
Installations of other electrical/electronic-related functions
Qualifications
Must possess Industrial Red Seal/ Block Electrician Certificate
2-5 years of experience in the electrical field
Experience in instrumentation and/or electronics would be considered an asset
Familiarity with CMMS would be considered an asset
Previous PLC experience, including installation and troubleshooting preferred
Ability to work all rotation shifts, weekends and overtime as required
Willing and able to work in various work environments i.e. heat, cold, wet, etc.
Ability to work with a minimum supervision
Ability to change electric motors and switches as required
