The electrical maintenance technician will work within the maintenance team and will report hierarchically to the Site Facilities Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise maintenance activities and modifications necessary for the electrical network.
• Coordinate the procurement of materials related to modifications.
• Assist other departments to ensure electrical compliance of new equipment.
• Coordinate activities with subcontractors.
• Ensure modification data is archived and updated (thermography, budget evaluation, electrical plan, register of major works).
• Create and update electrical plans.
• Provide field teams with assistance to comply with ongoing requirements, lockout tagout, intervention procedures, and risk analysis.

Requirements:

Technical:

• Education in electricity, electrical engineering or other relevant field.
• Basic understanding of industrial railway processes (an asset).
• Knowledge of automation technologies (an asset).
• Hold or be able to obtain an A2 Electrical License (an asset).
• Strong team coordination and communication skills.
• Rigorous and organized.
• Dynamic and autonomous.
