BPA and the multidisciplinary team at Pratt & Whitney Canada's project office are currently looking for a Building Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team at BPA's project office at Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil. He/she will be involved in all stages of various projects and will collaborate directly with the customer on different projects at the customer's infrastructure level across Canada.

Your main responsibilities

  1. Technical supervision, coordination, verification and design of various electrical systems projects
  2. Work closely with engineers and technicians to develop solutions tailored to client needs and carry out building electrical projects for various sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential)
  3. Survey existing installations
  4. Analyze, design and adapt building-related installations
  5. Develop new systems and improve existing ones
  6. Assess the construction cost budget
  7. Write specifications and technical reports
  8. Provide assistance in regard to site supervision

Your Profile

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  2. We're looking for somebody with autonomy and with at least 3 years of professional experience in design as well as project coordination.
  3. Must be fluent in French both written and speaking.
  4. Must know AutoCad, Revit, Office 365 suite
  5. Continuous Improvement, Communication, Technical Skills, Conceptual Thinking, Responsabilisation, Concern for Order and Quality
