• Install, troubleshoot, and repair control circuits.

Responsibilities

• Install conduits, wiring, and advanced systems (fire alarms, security, lighting controls, etc.).
• Mount various electrical equipment and perform wiring for control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits.

Requirements

• Registered Apprentice with ITA or another recognized provincial apprenticeship with Level 1 school completed and 900 working hours logged or completion of a Foundations program with an accredited college.
• Current WAH (Working at Heights)
• Current WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
• Reliable transportation, whether it be through public transit or a bike route.

Benefits

• Work Hours: 40 hours/week 5 - 8’s Mon - Fri,
• Unionized wages & benefits with the IBEW Local 213. The straight time hourly rates are as follows:

1. 1st Term Apprentice - $26.38
2. 2nd Term Apprentice - $28.78
3. 3rd Term Apprentice - $31.18
4. 4th Term Apprentice - $33.58
5. 5th Term Apprentice - $35.98
6. 6th Term Apprentice - $38.38
7. 7th Term Apprentice - $40.77
8. 8th Term Apprentice - $43.17
