Warehouse Generalist

We are a growing organization and currently looking for a passionate and motivated Warehouse Generalist to join our winning team.

Employment Type: Permanent
Shift: Monday, Wednesday to Friday: 2pm-12:30am
Office/Facility: Ingersoll, ON

Use a variety of material handling equipment to move products, equipment, and materials on and off trucks or throughout the facility while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Participates in a culture where Health & Safety is the #1 priority and complies with all regulatory and company safety requirements.
2. Receives, unloads and stores incoming product.
3. Locates, picks, loads and ships outgoing product.
4. Follows procedures to ensure the accurate, efficient and safe operation of all equipment (i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks, shrink wrap machines).
5. Notifies operational management of any equipment maintenance required.
6. Reports all building failures, including racking, lighting, floors, etc.
7. Maintains the integrity of products by ensuring they are stored at appropriate temperatures and reports any variances.
8. Ensures all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
9. Cleans dock, warehouse floors and inspection rooms as per HACCP standards.
10. Maintains clear aisles.
11. Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with the company vision, mission, strategy and culture.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

1. Experience is not essential, but related warehousing work experience would be an asset. Training provided.
2. Ability to take direction, learn quickly, communicate effectively, and work successfully as part of a team.
3. Work in temperatures of -18 - -21 Celsius.
4. Ability to read and count accurately, do simple math and write legibly.
5. Basic RF and/or voice pick WMS knowledge.
6. Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
7. Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
